Ty Enfys (Class 10/11) Restart-a-Heart
28 February 2024
Our Upper School students have been receiving hands-on, cardio pulmonary resuscitation training (CPR) empowering them to save lives…
Each year in Britain around 30,000 people are struck by sudden cardiac arrest outside of hospital environments. They can affect anyone at any time – from young children at school, to adults when they’re at home, work or out in public places. Their chances of survival double if a bystander immediately starts CPR. If a defibrillator is used within 3-5 minutes, survival rates jump to 74 per cent.
In 2018 we rasied £995 to buy a defibrillator for the School.
