We had a lovely St. John’s Festival in Kindergarten – a mid-year celebration of the summer solstice – jumping the fire in our Fire Crowns. Festivals are an important element in Steiner education and a much loved tradition at Cardiff Steiner School, standing as beacons across the changing year. They connect us with the changing seasons, establish a yearly rhythm for the children, and awaken a natural reverence and respect for the spiritual essence in us all.
