Marc has 30 years of teaching experience, including in schools. He has a Performance Diploma from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Credit) and an Advanced Diploma in Early Music (Distinction).
Marc teachers all abilities, from beginners to advanced, and across a range of styles/genres including Classical, Rock, Celtic, Klezma and Jazz.
Marc is passionate about live performance and has performed on the main stages of Reading and Glastonbury Festivals, the Conway Hall in London, St David’s Hall in Cardiff, and on tour and TV with top live acts.
Marc currently performs in various baroque orchestras and regularly leads the Welsh Baroque Orchestra. He also plays with early music group, L’indescret, bluegrass ensemble ‘Up The Creek’, the prolific ‘Duet a la Carte’ and with Cardiff’s own Canton Café Orchestra.
His interests and specialisms include orchestral playing, solo performance, Early Music, contemporary music, jazz and improvisation.
