Games – Lisa Sandercock

Lisa has worked at the School since 2009, and has been our Games Teacher since 2014 She has qualifications in Playwork and Playgroup Practice as well as over 10 years experience in community playschemes and as a beaver and cub leader. She is a fantastic sportswoman and brings her passion, skill and dedication to games and sport to motivate and inspire our students.

In Steiner Waldorf Education we believe children were born to move. We understand the physical basis of learning across all subjects, but also have a unique and specific curriculum for Movement and Physical Education. Lisa Sandercock (our Games Teacher) and Miranda Knight (our Bothmer Teacher) bring  the richness of the Steiner Waldorf movement curriculum, ensuring movement, play, games, gymnastics and sport supports the stages of children’s development, and keeps children and young people moving – and moving with joy – into adulthood and beyond.
